IN PERPETUAL MOTION
Jaeger-LeCoultre has created a series called In Perpetual Motion featuring its ambassadors. Each movie focuses on the notion of time and its relationship to three natural environments: lakes, forests and the heavens.
Wearing the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Perpetual Calendar, the ambassador narrates an evocative text that reflects on concepts of perpetual movement and action – the eternal cycles and ever-changing sense of time, as expressed by the natural world.
DESIGN
A MODERN STYLE WITH A SPORTING SOUL
Lacquered in a deep gradient-blue colour, the dial of the Polaris Perpetual Calendar offers a modern look. The bold indexes and Arabic numerals coated with SLN are balanced by the complexity and fine detail of the 4 counters displaying the perpetual calendar indications.
SHARP ATTENTION TO DETAIL
The four counters finished in different textures add visual richness to the lacquered dial, as the light plays across them. Moreover, the signature rotating inner bezel is opaline with touches of orange to subtly remind the sport DNA of this new timepiece
A CONFIDENT DESIGN
The 42mm case features the key Polaris design codes: taut lines, fine bezels, glass-box crystals, and an eye-catching mix of brushed and polished surfaces. A transparent sapphire crystal case-back and an open-worked winding rotor made of pink gold reveal the fine decorative finishes on the movement.

STRAPS
A STRAP FOR EVERY ADVENTURE
Your next adventure could take you anywhere. The Polaris Perpetual Calendar offers a range of interchangeable straps to get you there. An interchangeable metal bracelet with an additional blue rubber strap are included with the timepiece, while a collection of leather skins is available in addition to perfectly fit with your daily adventures.
FUNCTIONS
A PERPETUAL DISPLAY
The new Polaris Perpetual Calendar introduces the in-house calibre 868AA which automatically takes into account the months with 28, 30 or 31 days, as well as the leap years. The date, month and day indicators are at 9, 12 and 3 o’clock respectively, and the moon phases are at 6 o’clock – a retrograde display for the Southern Hemisphere framing a classical display for its Northern counterpart.
CALIBRE
TO BE ADJUSTED IN 2100
This new in-house calibre 868AA has been upgraded in line with the latest production technology to offer a power reserve to 70 hours. The complexity of this mechanism is that it automatically takes into account the months with 28, 30 or 31 days, as well as the leap years. Thus it only needs a correction in 2100.
This new calibre has been completely invented, developed and produced by the Manufacture in the Vallée de Joux.
